Baggage allowance for AZAL flights
Azerbaijan Airlines applies the following rules for the baggage allowance allowed on board (as per the table and conditions below) of Azerbaijan Airlines / Azaljet / Buta Airways flights:

It is possible to pre-pay the additional baggage allowance up to three hours before departure at a cost of 75 EUR (45 EUR for Buta Airways / AZALJET flights) per piece (with a maximum permitted weight of 23 kg).
* The sum of the three dimensions (height x width x depth) of the hold baggage must not exceed 158 centimeters.
* Children up to 2 years of age traveling without an assigned seat have a baggage allowance of 1 piece with a maximum weight of 10KG
Holders of “AZAL-Miles” Platinum and Gold cards enjoy an additional baggage allowance (in addition to that already allowed by the rules of the fare purchased) of 1 piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 23KG.
Additional conditions:
- In case the size of the hold baggage exceeds 158 cm, but does not exceed 203 cm (as the sum of the three baggage sizes), an additional payment of 85 EUR (or equivalent in local currency) will be applied.
- In case the size of the hold baggage exceeds 203 cm (as the sum of the three baggage sizes), an additional payment of 165 EUR (or equivalent in local currency) will be applied.
- In case the weight of the hold baggage exceeds 23KG cm, but does not exceed 32KG, an additional payment of 85 EUR (or equivalent in local currency) will be applied.
- Baggage exceeding 32KG will not be accepted as hold baggage
- Strollers and wheelchairs will be stowed together with other baggage at no additional cost.
